Not at BlogHer? WHO CARES! Have fun with us at home!

So! Who else is bummed that she's not at BlogHer this year? Yup: me, too. When I first heard that BH11 would be in San Diego (and realized that it was road-trippable for us), Chebbar was laid off. Saaaaad. Then he got called back to work! HAPPY! All of a sudden, it was a VERY real possibility. I began to get ridiculously excited. Don't get me wrong: I couldn't give a rip about monetizing my brand - I only wanted to go to meet (in person) all of the fantastically amazing people I've gotten to know via the interwebz.

Then Chebbar realized a) he wasn't overly fond of his job and b) he really didn't love the idea of staying somewhere so unstable (it was his second lay-off in nine months). We started looking at school options and making plans for him to quit work to go to school. Aaaaand all of a sudden, BlogHer just wasn't gonna be in the books. Saaaaad. (Oh, and THEN we came into some money unexpectedly (HAPPY!) that COULD HAVE allowed me to freaking well go. ASFqo(*ju'q234p!@2 <--- excessive cursing. Saaaaad.)

Oh, well. Not my time, obviously.

Instead, I'm more than thrilled to be spending the night at BlogHer@Home, *comfortable* in my PJs (such as they are in this ass-blisteringly hot spell we've stumbled into), chatting it up with @princessjenn, @mybottlesup, and all of you other awesome women, and maybe have a DRANK or two (*cough*@leighish*cough*). It's gonna be TONS of fun, what with the chatting and the blog hopping and the prize giveaways (watch for one from me!) and the boobs...

Wayne's World! Party time! Excellent!

Wait - did I just age myself? *shifty eyes*
