Pro-Tip #1: if you want to be left alone at work, go in sans make-up, hair up in a haphazard pony tail, and wearing the most pajama-esque clothing you can get away with. People will assume you're sick and buzz off.
(This also works when you call in "sick" because you need a mental health day for the love of Baby Cheesus and want it to look more convincing when you return to work. Not that I'd know anything about that... *side eye*)
I rock the crazy ALL THE TIME. I'm so good at it, it's kind of my thing.
But the calling in sick always fails me.
For some reason, I always know I just want a day off and end up having a screaming match with myself where I end up slamming the door and saying FINE, I'LL GO TO WORK - OKAY SELF? ARE YOU HAPPY NOW? Stupid self employment. Total fail.
I was lucky enough to get to work in chef's clothes which are no different than pajamas, really. One day I might need to be a professional, but not yet! HAHAHA!
So funny!! I took a "mental health" day yesterday and the blog world knows I needed it. My "return to work" look is simply no blush. I'm so fair then I don't wear blush, I look dead. No joke. People actually told me today that I "still didn't look well". It has served me well. :)
I need to go replan my outfit for tomorrow.... ;)
